Artist’s Reception: Marcia Rackstraw Exhibition: REFLECTION

Join us for a reception with artist, Marcia Rackstraw, and her exhibition Reflection. Using nature as a starting point, each painting is a patchwork of “rooms” filled with exotic objects on planes of color that emphasize the flat surface of the canvas. Rackstraw was inspired by spatial relationships of Japanese tapestries, and the narrative content of her personal subject matter, including tropical foliage, koi, draped fabrics, and the figure.
