Why should I support SWC?
Southwest Contemporary has been a leading voice on contemporary art in the Southwest since 1992, and is the only publication in this region dedicated to covering independent arts and culture from the perspective of local writers, artists, and creators. Our content is free for all to read, but not free to produce. Your support helps protect our editorial independence, allowing us to continue publishing quality arts journalism and criticism that is free and available to all.
Where do my membership fees go?
All member contributions directly support our staff and team of freelance writers, editors, and photographers.
Can I gift a membership?
Yes! Gift a membership to a friend by clicking “Gift a Subscription” on the sign-up page or by navigating to the logo widget in the lower right corner of the screen. The subscription will not begin until the recipient chooses to redeem the gift. The gift will not expire.
When will I receive my swag?
Tote bags will begin shipping this holiday season. Digital and print publications will be delivered in February, May, June, August, Sept, and November each year.
How do Ambassador members donate digital advertisements?
Each SWC Ambassador members can choose a local/regional small business or nonprofit to receive a free digital ad ($200 value, eligible for placement on our website or newsletter). Small organizations have been deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and we hope to help them survive this challenging moment with the aid of our member contributions.
How do I change or cancel my Membership?
Yearly members are pre-paid and non-refundable, but automatic renewal can be changed or canceled by clicking on the logo widget in the lower right corner of our website and selecting “Manage Subscription.” Need help? Just give us a holler: email@example.com.
Can I get a refund?
Membership contributions are non-refundable, but you are welcome to cancel upcoming payments at any time.
What are my payment options?
Our membership program is powered by Pico, and we accept all major credit cards processed through Stripe. You may also pay by check. Please send checks to Southwest Contemporary, 369 Montezuma Ave, PMB 258, Santa Fe, NM 87501. Be sure to include your email address if you would like to receive our members-only newsletter.
