Kathy McCarty is an Austin, Texas-based musician and painter, known for her significant contributions to the music scene, particularly in the 1980s and 1990s. Born in 1961 in Stamford, Connecticut, McCarty’s musical journey began with her involvement in the band Buffalo Gals from 1981 to 1983. She then became a founding member and co-leader of the band Glass Eye, which was active until its disbandment in 1993. Glass Eye was notable for its art-rock style, contributing to Austin’s interesting and diverse music scene during that time.

David Thornberry is a painter and art educator in Austin, TX. His paintings are based on observation/realism, focusing on all aspects of the composition, with positive and negative shapes and dramatic light and shadow. He also does extensive figure drawing and is a figure model.  He is currently working on the subject of landscape.  He considers himself more of a formalist with a secondary concentration on content.
