Join us to watch curated film selections influenced by our 2024 Season. Stephen Barlow, the director of Don Giovanni, will introduce us to our second film, Picture of Dorian Gray (1945).

Film Description: In 1945, the silver screen brought Oscar Wilde’s timeless tale of vanity, corruption, and the pursuit of eternal youth to life in “The Picture of Dorian Gray.” Directed by Albert Lewin, this cinematic adaptation stunned audiences with its haunting portrayal of a young man named Dorian Gray, played by Hurd Hatfield, whose soul becomes ensnared in a Faustian bargain.
