A benefit screening with all proceeds collected at the door going to the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund!
Three experimental and radical classics of Palestinian Cinema: They Do Not Exist (directed by Mustafa Abu Ali, 1974, twenty-five minutes), Palestinian Identity (directed by Kassem Hawal, 1984, thirty-eight minutes), and the avant-garde masterpiece A Hundred Faces for a Single Day (directed by Christian Ghazi, 1971, sixty-four minutes).
They Do Not Exist will be presented in a never-before-seen digital restoration commissioned by No Name Cinema. The restoration file will then be freely distributed to Palestinian, activist, and radical cinema organizations.
The doors open at 7 pm and the films will begin at 7:30 pm. Popcorn will be offered for free. Pricing is a $10–50 suggested donation.
