An evening of drag performances curated by Lady Shug
Marlene Nathan Meyerson Auditorium
Led by Indigenous drag artists Lady Shug and Landa Lakes and featuring local artists from the region of New Mexico reservation, the LaLa Land Back tour is a continually evolving, collaborative, multi-media love letter to the Indigiqueer community. Featured on HBO’s We’re Here, Diné drag artist Lady Shug supports border towns and communities within and alongside their reservation through the #ShugChallenge mutual aid program. Landa Lakes is a Chickasaw writer, musician, activist, artist, and founder of several drag performance groups in San Francisco, including the Brush Arbor Gurlz and House of Glitter.
The cocktail party meet and greet with the performers is only open to SITE Santa Fe Members.

The LaLa Land Back Tour welcomes Indigenous, queer, Two-Spirit, and trans artists into theaters, museums, and community centers – venues where these voices have been historically excluded – and offers education alongside compassion for those who are curious about but uninitiated on the topic of intersectionality. The LaLa Land Back Tour delivers two accessible and exuberant experiences for all audiences, from the youngest members of our communities to the young-at-heart at the LaLa Land Back Tour Indigenous Show.
