Join us at kind of a small array on Sunday, September 8, at 2 pm for readings by poet and playwright Isabella Russell-Ides, visiting from Dallas, Texas.
Isabella will present works from her newly released book, OVA, a collection of poems, stories, and plays. With her creative co-conspirator in life and love, Rod Russell-Ides, there will also be a dramatic reading of CoCo & Gigi, a favorite among her critically acclaimed plays.
“Isabella Russell-Ides is the embodiment of the trickster feminist dakini, a maestra of shapeshifting writing styles, and a gleeful genre-masher.”
– Dr. Karen X. Minzer, Poet/Historian and fellow Dharma Broad
“Lie on your belly on any warm sidewalk in America, and you can feel her beat. This neo-Queen of Another Day rhymes about love again and time again.”
– Jo Carol Pierce, creator of Bad Girls Upset by the Truth and current Loose Diamond in the Sky
Paintings by Paul Milosevich will be on exhibition in the gallery, through October 12, 2024.
