Opening Reception: Rattlesnakes: 13 Pastel Portraits of Women Born/Raised in Northeastern New Mexico

Women are often overlooked in society and this exhibition showcases 13 women who were born and/or raised in Northeastern New Mexico. Titled, Rattlesnakes these women are fierce, resilient, and strong survivors in a sometimes hostile macho land. Artist Lucy Finch captured some of the complexity of their lives in this series of soft pastel portraits.
