Review Santa Fe Photo Festival, Santa Fe
October 26 – 29, 2017
Review Santa Fe is the multifaceted flagship program of CENTER and is one of the premier juried photography reviews in the country. One hundred photographers are selected to place their work in front of top industry professionals, including museum curators, gallerists, publishers, and art directors. Now in its seventeenth year, the event has expanded to allow for more public events, including two days of artist talks, an exhibition at the Marion Center for Photographic Arts, and the main event: the open viewing of portfolios from some of the top photographers currently working globally. This event is a tremendous opportunity to see some of the best international photographers’ best work and is free and open to the public at the Santa Fe Farmers Market Pavilion on Friday, October 27, 6-8 pm.
Twelve photographers will give presentations about their award-winning projects. The talks will take place on the afternoons of Friday, October 27, and Saturday, October 28. Presenters include: Petra Barth, Elizabeth Claffey, David Denil, David Gardner, Muriel Hasbun, Ryota Kajita, R.J. Kern, Mario Lalau, Sara Macel, Brendan Pattengale, Agnieszka Sosnowska, and Bryan Thomas.
Additional events can be attended with purchase of the Festival Pass.
