Shay Lawz is a writer and performer raised in Jersey City, NJ. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Aster(ix), Big Big Wednesday, Winter Tangerine, and elsewhere. She thinks often about the relationship between text and performance, sound and image, the body and everything else that we call home. She is a recent graduate of Brown University’s MFA program and is currently at work on an interdisciplinary project.
