Become a member or make a donation during the month of December and double your impact for arts journalism.
Dear friends,
Happy December! Today is the launch of our year-end fundraiser, which means we’re looking back on a year of impact and thinking about what we want to accomplish in 2025.
We’re grateful to receive—for the third year in a row—a matching grant from the New Mexico Local New Fund, an exceptional organization working to support independent journalism across our home state.
This year, every dollar we receive in membership contributions or one-time donations will be matched by up to $7,500. Matching grants like these are an incredible lifeline, and we plan to make the most of it!
The kick off this fundraiser, we are thrilled to roll out two new resources for SWC Members, which have been in the works for months!
The SWC Art Opportunity Index
The Opportunity Index is a database of 140 (and counting) regular and recurring residency programs, grants, fellowships, resources, and more—accessible through a supremely navigable interface. The Index is now available to all active SWC Members! Access it here.
The Southwest Art Industry Newsletter
Our new monthly Art Industry Newsletter acts as a companion to the Index, sharing timely resources, job opportunities in the creative sector, calls for artists, insights from the SWC team, suggestions for further reading, and more. It will arrive in active SWC Member inboxes on the first of every month and will officially launch on January 1.
If you are already a member, thank you for joining us! We hope you find value in these new offerings. Please consider increasing your support by upgrading your membership plan or making an additional donation.
If you are not yet a member, please help us keep arts discourse alive by becoming a member or making a one-time donation!
Thanks for your consideration, we can’t wait to welcome you to the SWC family!
