ABOUT THE EXHIBITION AND BOOK
Mark your calendars for March 7, 2025, as Santa Fe welcomes a groundbreaking literary event: the launch of New York Times bestseller author Dominic Cappello’s poignant and powerful memoir, The Traumatized Doctor’s Diary: Stories of Saving Oneself and the World.
This extraordinary book offers readers an intimate glimpse into the life of a man who set out to heal the world but first had to navigate the treacherous waters of his own traumatic childhood. Through a series of captivating chapters, Cappello takes us on a seven-decade journey of personal growth, societal change, and the relentless pursuit of healing – both for himself and for the world around him.
The Traumatized Doctor’s Diary is not just a memoir; it’s a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of purpose. Cappello’s narrative and illustrations weave together personal anecdotes, societal observations, and profound insights, creating a tapestry that reflects the complexities of life in a world that is both traumatized and traumatizing.
