ARTScrawl Demonstration by David Croxton: The Art of Turning

The First Sunday ARTScrawl July 5, 11am-1pm will include a demonstration of the Basketweave Illusion technique by nationally and internationally recognized Woodworker David Croxton. His exhibition, The Art of Turning, highlights Croxton’s Basket Illusion pieces, where a solid piece of wood is crafted to look like a woven basket. The exhibit also includes items from his Ancient Dwellings series, and turned vessels of natural wood.
The Artist Reception is Saturday, July 11, 1-3 pm.
