Visit the Wheelwright Museum for a Free Sunday and Arts Alive! drop-in activity. For the fourth year running, join Mechoopda-Maidu artist Jacob Meders who will help you transform your old t-shirt or other shirt into a new work of art through silk screening. An ever popular drop-in activity where you transform your t-shirt into a new work of art. Meders is member of the Mechoopda Indian Tribe of Chico Rancheria, California, and currently lives and works in Phoenix, Arizona. He is an Associate Professor in New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences at Arizona State University, Glendale, and owner of WarBird Press, a fine art printmaking studio that he operates as the Master Printmaker.
Arts Alive! will be held downstairs in the Museum Classroom, from noon to 3pm.
