I’m Coming Out
McCreery Jordan’s upcoming show I’m Coming Out (September 13, 2019) will feature many new bas-relief paintings and three-dimensional sculptures. Some of the faces, figures, ravens, and horses literally and physically come out of the paintings, while others are painted to appear to transcend the surface. Still, others are free-standing sculptures. Close inspection by the viewer is required to discern which are which.
