The Support Santa Fe Gift Guide series features treasures from local shops, makers, and organizations. We’re covering books, art, crafts, food and drink, and philanthropy. Up first: the Lifestyle Edition.
To the Santa Fe community and beyond, this gift guide is here to serve as a handy reference and to not-so-mildly implore you to please, for the love of god, shop local this year. The “Support Santa Fe” part of this gift guide was cooked up before the second lockdown was announced; so as shops now close their doors for the next two weeks, an ineffably vital time for retail (holiday sales account for an average of 20% of annual retail sales, and that’s in a non-pandemic year), we ask you to join us in supporting the makers, shops, and institutions whose futures were already in a precarious place due to the neverending year of 2020.
Let’s make sure we still have places to go browse, discover unexpected treasures, and interact with other community members who have put their hearts and souls into building their businesses. We’ve said it once, and we’ll say it again: let’s stick together.
The Support Santa Fe Gift Guide: Lifestyle Edition
At the time of publication, Santa Fe’s boutiques are closed for in-person shopping until November 30. All shops featured here offer a number of solutions—curbside pick up, delivery, shipping, virtual shopping appointments, and more. Contact each retailer individually to learn more.
