Radius Books is proud to announce Artist Weekend 2023, with more than eighty notable artists, writers, and curators in Santa Fe, New Mexico, August 4–6. This year marks the sixteenth anniversary of the nonprofit art book publisher, which has released nearly 200 titles and donated more than 80,000 thoughtfully crafted books to underfunded libraries since 2006.
As part of this celebration, Radius hosts an auction featuring original works by Radius artists, including Alison Rossiter, Ann Hamilton, Barbara Bosworth, Binh Danh, Charles Arnoldi, David Benjamin Sherry, David Kimball Anderson, David Simpson, Harmony Hammond, Helen Pashgian, Jennie C. Jones, Judy Tuwaletstiwa, Julie Blackmon, Kota Ezawa, Kyle Meyer, Linda Foard Roberts, Marcelyn McNeil, Matt Magee, Max Cole, Meghann Riepenhoff, Richard Misrach, Shirin Neshat, Stephanie Syjuco, Susan York, Ted Larsen, Victoria Sambunaris, and Wendy Red Star.
Online bidding is live until Friday, August 4, at 12 am at radiusauction.org; in-person viewing is available by appointment. All funds from the sales of these works directly support the Radius mission and Donation Program.
The community book fair—which is free and open to the public—takes place Saturday, August 5, 10 am-3 pm MDT at 227 East Palace Avenue. This year, Radius is taking the opportunity to honor several beloved creators and patrons in recognition of their contributions to Radius and the larger community. The honorees include Las Vegas, New Mexico-based artist Max Cole, renowned writer Rebecca Solnit, and the philanthropic Santa Fe-based Lannan Foundation.
