Workshop: Flax Fiber Papermaking for Sculpture

3-Day Immersive Fiber Art Workshop with Jacqueline Mallegni – Paper Rain Studio.

Set against the serene backdrop of Arroyo Hondo, this workshop offers creatives the opportunity to engage in daily sessions with a focus on papermaking with flax roving creating textured paper for sculptural applications with natural materials. Design and make a reusable mould with wire and plaster; explore mark-making with sumi ink and indigo and surface embellishment with stitching.
