The Mad Hatter Gallery’s July exhibit will feature William Morée’s unique “trichromographs,” a series of photographs created through an additive lighting process Moreé developed. These trichromographs explore the physiological aspects of human visual perception, emphasizing how we see rather than what we see.
Originally from New York City, Morée is now based in Washington, D.C. and the Black Range Mountains in southern New Mexico. He holds a BFA from Pratt Institute and an MFA from NMSU. In addition to his trichromographs, Morée has extensive experience in photographing presidents and presidential candidates, including Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Hilary Rodham Clinton, and Bernie Sanders.
The exhibit will be on view July 4–August 9, with an opening reception Friday, July 4, 5:00-8:00 pm, followed by an artist talk on Friday, July 11, 5:30-6:30.
Located at 221 N. Main St., Suite C, Las Cruces, The Mad Hatter Gallery is open Wed.-Fri., 11 am-5 pm, Sat., 10 am-2 pm, with extended hours on First Fridays and for other events. Contact the gallery at Themadhattergallery@gmail.com
