Opening: ¡Qué Hermoso!

¡Qué Hermoso! features more than 50 artworks by Arizona artists, including Oliverio Balcells, Cristina Cárdenas, Emily Costello, Lalo Cota, Camila Ibarra, Gretchen Lopez, Amanda Mollindo, Liliana Mora, Cora Quiroz, Joe Ray, Veronica Verdugo-Lomeli and the late Gretchen Lopez — a beloved longtime artist and teacher at Sedona Arts Center. Exploring themes of history, familism, forgotten stories and rich personal and collective experiences, the exhibition spans a wide range of mediums, from painting and printmaking to photography, sculpture and mixed media. Thought-provoking and deeply personal, many of the artworks address timely issues such as social justice and racial inequality.
