An exhibition of work by Kimberly Thompson, presenting a series of intimate boxes that explore the human need to preserve the intangible. Crafted with traditional metalsmithing techniques from both precious and found materials, each form becomes a reliquary for unseen forces — memory, grief, joy, longing. Her work blurs the boundary between object and self, asking where the vessel ends and the soul begins. These quiet forms offer space for reflection on the objects we keep and the things that we contain. This collection is part of a greater three person exhibit which includes work from Rachel Kosa Hebert (AZ) and Jill Nuckles (Calgary, Canada). Opening May 23 at Sunmount Chapel — itself a vessel of layered spiritual resonance — the show invites viewers into an experience of reverence, reflection, and quiet engagement with the inner and outer landscapes we navigate.
