Farmington Jazz Fest

Free, one-day Jazz Fest at Orchard Park in downtown Farmington, sponsored by the Northwest New Mexico Arts Council.

Featuring, Delbert Anderson, Julia Keefe, Nataani Means & DJ, San Juan Jazz Combo, Third Hour and more. A tribute to Jacob C. Morgan (1879-1950) a Navajo musician (trumpeter), educator, band director, and more, who helped create the Navajo Nation Band in Shiprock, NM which still exists to this day. Jacob was a local to our area and played his trumpet at downtown Orchard Park to gather our community for his love of music. The festival begins with a free panel/workshop at 11am with Delbert Anderson and Julia Keefe at the Totah Theater, followed by the outdoor Jazz Fest at Orchard Park from 3pm to 8pm. Off hours is scheduled at the downtown Chile Pod if you still want more Jazz.
