CHARCOAL: Strokes of Vitality
November 4—December 11, 2020
Richard Levy Gallery
Richard Levy Gallery’s recent video celebrates their current exhibition, CHARCOAL: Strokes of Vitality. This offers an opportunity to learn more about five Black artists working in New Mexico today. Listen to insightful conversations with the curator Kianah Jay as she interviews Noé Barnett, Nikesha Breeze, Karsten Creightney, and Paula Wilson, and view works from this show.
In a time of stay-at-home orders, this program was produced by Richard Levy Gallery and co-directed by Richard Levy Gallery and Kianah Jay to commemorate this exhibition and to share the experience with you at home.
The exhibition CHARCOAL: Strokes of Vitality has been recommended by Southwest Contemporary, New Mexico Magazine, and the Downtown Albuquerque Arts and Cultural District.
The gallery is open by appointment December 8-11; this will be the first and last opportunity to see the exhibition in person. Appointments are limited, schedule your visit today.
