Textile Collage Masterclass with Monica Mohnot

In this 4-hour workshop, participants explore textile manipulation techniques from the ground up. They begin by collaging a variety of fabrics together in a jigsaw-puzzle-style arrangement, then build depth and texture using reverse appliqué and chenille, layering in additional fabric and optional printing or paint mark-making along the way. Each participant leaves with a finished piece they can display as a flat 2D wall piece or shape into a simple 3D form, depending on personal preference and time.
