Opening: Enrique López Llamas, A million more things to keep me awake

Join Black Cube for the opening of A million more things to keep me awake by Enrique López Llamas at Black Cube Headquarters (BCHQ). Marking López Llamas’s first solo presentation in the United States, “A million more things to keep me awake” includes three major bodies of work from the artist, including a newly commissioned, large-scale sculpture activated by disco ball motors; a selection of suspended glow-in-the-dark, low relief sculptures; and a single-channel short film. Blending humor, nostalgia, and a mix of personal and art-historical iconographies, López Llamas constructs an enveloping constellation of works in which the relationship between presence and absence is centered.
