Opening Reception: Roger Evans: Fun, Fantasy and Frivolity

Fun, Fantasy and Frivolity is pure unfiltered Roger Evans. While comical on the surface, the works explore the connection between memory and experience—between reality and fantasy—ranging from the absurd to the familiar. They include outdoor sculptures, paintings full of texture and color, a mosaic, a book and a collection of prints and drawings. They are a culmination of all that he has experienced in his life; his memories, dreams and perceptions, woven into narratives that are full of humor.

The artists’ reception will be celebrated with fellowship and refreshments on Saturday, May 16, 1–3 pm.
