Curator Talk Series
November 2025–January 2026
SITE Santa Fe
SITE Santa Fe’s Curator Talk Series returns with an all-star lineup of internationally acclaimed visionaries in the art world. Each curator has been recognized as an innovative thought leader, both at home and abroad, and has unique experiences in creative environments and contexts that have brought to life some of the most unexpected, imaginative contemporary art exhibitions of the past five years.
The series launches with Ekow Eshun, whom Vogue declared “the most inspired—and inspiring—curator in Britain,” on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at SITE Santa Fe. His 2024 exhibition, The Time is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure, opened at the National Portrait Gallery in London to rave reviews and went on to tour U.S. museums. As the acclaimed author of The Strangers: Five Extraordinary Black Men and the Worlds That Made Them (2024) and In the Black Fantastic (2022), Eshun is a highly respected leading voice in contemporary art.
Two curators will come to SITE Santa Fe in December: Sara Raza and Miranda Lash. Dr. Raza is an award-winning international curator and the current artistic director and chief curator of the Centre for Contemporary Art in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Her global curatorial practice based out of Punk Orientalism Studio, which she founded in 2019, became the basis of her groundbreaking book, Punk Orientalism: The Art of Rebellion (2022). Raza will speak at SITE Santa Fe on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
One week later on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, Lash will come to SITE Santa Fe for her Curator Talk. Most recently, Lash served as co-artistic director of Prospect.6 triennial in New Orleans, The Future is Present, the Harbinger is Home (2024). She is currently chief curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver, Colorado.
The series concludes in the new year with Diana Campbell, the current artistic director of the inaugural Bukhara Biennial, Recipes for Broken Hearts (2025), and the founding artistic director of Samdani Art Foundation based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is currently head of global initiatives for the Hartwig Art Foundation. Campbell will speak at SITE Santa Fe on January 5, 2026.
