Globe Fine Art is delighted to showcase new encaustic works of painter Richard Potter. A Santa Fe native currently living in Tucson, Potter captures the beauty of moments in time with Permutations.
“These works are an exploration of lived experience – a morning or afternoon walk, shifting colors, sounds, scents; the rhythms of life. Observation blends with memory and imagination, allowing direct experience and its recollection to coexist within the same space. We have the experience of living the moment combined with our memory of it. They live side by side in our being. These paintings organize such elements into structures of design where form, color and field come together to create and recreate a space in time.”
