Wild Hearts Gallery in Placitas invites the public to a featured event to view the artwork of Painter, Marcia Rackstraw: Reflecting on a Lifetime of Art, a Retrospective, Exhibit runs from September 1 – 27.
Reflecting on a Lifetime of Art, a Retrospective, is Wild Hearts Gallery’s tribute to longtime gallery member Marcia Rackstraw. This fifth and final exhibit of Rackstraw’s work at the gallery will display select pieces from her various series of work including zebras, botanicals, shells, koi and a most recent series of “vertical rooms” filled with mysterious hints of figures and tropical greenery. Works include oil paintings on canvas, woodblock prints, and charcoal on paper.
