Workshop: Foundry Bronze-Casting

Join artist Kevin Box for a 3-day bronze casting workshop at Box Studio & Sculpture Garden in Cerrillos, NM. No experience necessary—this workshop welcomes all skill levels!

What You’ll Create

You’ll make your own bronze bowl or bell using traditional sand casting techniques. Working with a match plate pattern, you’ll learn both additive and subtractive methods to create texture and relief surfaces in your piece.

What You’ll Learn

Introduction to bronze casting and sand casting techniques, the history of bronze casting and contemporary foundry processes.

What’s Included

Bronze material for one bowl or bell, all necessary tools, and snacks and drinks throughout the day

Date & Time: March 4–6, 2026, 10 am–4 pm daily
Cost: $1,200 per person
