To Gladden the Heart: A Summer Solstice Celebration

Artists and musicians reclaim a vacant hi-rise office building in downtown Denver for a one-night immersive convergence of music, performance art, and botanical ritual celebrating the Summer Solstice. The evening begins in the outdoor plaza with a sunset ritual inspired by the bee priestesses of ancient Greece and Rome performed by The Practicing Body. Guests will then ascend to the 30th floor for a captivating musical performance by M O R S K A. Woven throughout the evening, guests will experience a site-responsive performance work by Crip Collective members Jaimie Henthorn, MG Bernard, and Regan Linton, accompanied by drummer Jade Lascelles. The evening closes with a a special solo set performed by Bluebook frontwoman Julie Davis. Join us in celebration of the longest day and the cycle of darkness and light.
