Santa Fe Magazine Festival at St. John’s College

June 12, 2:30 pmJune 14, 5:00 pm MDT

Santa Fe Magazine is proud to announce the inaugural Santa Fe Magazine Festival, a three-day gathering celebrating the extraordinary creative spirit of Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico. Taking place June 12–14, 2026 at the scenic and storied campus of St. John’s College, the festival will bring the magazine’s signature interview format to life through conversations, performances, talks, art experiences, and gatherings.

Designed as a live extension of the magazine, the Santa Fe Magazine Festival will feature exclusive interviews, thought-leader roundtables, conversations, stand-up comedy, art exhibits, and intimate VIP dinners with leading voices from the worlds of art, culture, science, food, and wellness. Rough Magic is what will happen during this innovative three-day event as “that’s what happens when you have extraordinary conversations with extraordinary people in an extraordinary setting.”

The festival lineup includes an eclectic group of notable speakers and participants such as Dark Winds star Jessica Matten, Zen teacher and poet Henry Shukman, integrative medicine pioneer Dr. Andrew Weil, bestselling historian Hampton Sides, Pueblo artist and futurist Virgil Ortiz, multidisciplinary artist Angela Ellsworth, and author Dan Flores. Additional guests include photographers Cara Romero and David Michael Kennedy, chef Mark Miller, screenwriter Bill Broyles, and bestselling author Jen Sincero, among many others whose work reflects the bold and unconventional spirit of Santa Fe. Many more speakers will be added in the coming week to ensure that the festival is in touch with the relevant issues of the day

“The Santa Fe Magazine Festival will be as maverick and unpredictable as the magazine itself,” said Owen Lipstein, founder and editor-in-chief of Santa Fe Magazine. “From the beginning, the festival was conceived as the natural twin to the publication — a live, in-person celebration of the visionary people and ideas that make Santa Fe such an extraordinary place.”
