As Brandon Behning reflects on his artistic process: “I work within the unseen spirals that shape reality, tossing images and language into their invisible pull to see where they land. When something begins to hum, I push until it breaks or transforms, revealing unexpected harmonies or fractures that shift my sense of form. Each discovery pulls me deeper into a persistent undertow of intuition and surprise—an energy I’ve learned to trust and stay close to in my process.”
The title of the exhibition is taken from Lydia Davis’ 1986 short story The Mice.
