LOVERS: Adonis with RF. Alvarez

Austin-based artist RF. Alvarez is bringing his very sought-after (and very intimate) LOVERS sessions to The Contemporary Austin.

Typically held at the artist’s studio, LOVERS is a series of nude life-drawing sessions accompanied by mezcal tastings, hosted and curated by artist RF. Alvarez. Each is built around a central theme that drives model choice, poses, and mezcal pairings.

This two-hour session, titled “Adonis,” will feature a single, muscular male model and three mezcals from varying agaves to highlight structure, depth, and story, along with high-quality charcoal and paper, and instruction from Alvarez.

Artists of all levels are welcome. LOVERS is about building community, being present, and finding artistic confidence.
