Here is How: Knowledge Exchange Festival

October 17, 2:00 pm—6:00 pm MDT
Free

Here Is How celebrates how we show up for each other. Catch live music and street magic, grab a bite, and connect with the folks who amplify our voices, share resources, teach practical skills, and have our backs. Drop into workshops or street demos, meet neighbors, and gather ideas for everyday community care.

Rooted in participation over commercial transactions, Here Is How centers street-level skill-sharing. In place of selling products or distributing marketing flyers, local service-based organizations, community groups, performers, and individuals share single-page “How-To” guides on practical skills. Attendees collect these pages throughout the festival and assemble them at an on-site station into a custom, hand-bound book to take home.

Participants include: 505OMATIC, Abstract Picnic, Adam Graves, Albuquerque Wildlife Federation, Ariesjo, Aviva + Lo, Brian John, Burrito Brigade, Calixte Raifsnider, Christy Georg, Creative Mornings Santa Fe, Godfrey Reggio Foundation, Greene Star Healing Arts, H3C (Heal Hearts, Heal Communities), High Flyer Dispensary, Impact Art Lab, Kerry Kehoe, Lila Steffan, Lou Feeney, Mohammed’s Mission, New Mexico Harm Reduction Collaborative, Nicky Schott, Noise for Now, Palestine Solidarity Santa Fe, Queer Community Care, Reaching, Reanimator, Resilience Systems, Robert Migliori, Santa Fe Botanical Garden, Santa Fe Liberation School, Santa Fe Young Meditators, Seams Possible, The DL, Thing in the Dirt, Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico, Truly Unruhly Jewelry, Unexpected Books, Wares by Xan, White Shell Abundance Initiative, Wild Xpression, Youth Shelters and Family Services.
