MERGE Modern Art Gallery Presents HER TERRAIN: Women Artists of New Mexico

Albuquerque, NM — MERGE Modern Art Gallery is proud to present HER TERRAIN, a dynamic group exhibition celebrating the creativity, diversity, and voices of women artists across New Mexico. Opening Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 5–8 PM, the exhibition will take place at MERGE Modern Art Gallery inside Catalyst Coffee, located at 6010 Coors Blvd NW, Suite 2, Albuquerque, NM 87120.

Curated by MERGE Modern Art Gallery, HER TERRAIN brings together an exciting lineup of contemporary artists working across a variety of styles and mediums, including Ari Espinoza, Beth Waldron, Caitlin Padilla, Carolyn Wolf, Eden Alvernaz, FrancePancake, Huitzil Sol, Jodie Herrera, Jessica Herrera, Kym Thurman, Lemony Artt, Mercedes Montoya, Mikayla Baca, Moe Webb, Roe Libretto, and Samantha Chavez.

The exhibition highlights the unique perspectives and creative landscapes shaped by women artists living and working in New Mexico today. From surrealism and pop-inspired works to abstraction and contemporary figurative art, HER TERRAIN reflects the vibrant artistic energy emerging throughout the region.

The opening reception will also feature a live musical performance by guest singer Tori Solomon and a special pop-up jewelry presentation by Katie Joy of Desert Song Studio, with additional featured guests and vendors to be announced.

MERGE Modern Art Gallery continues its mission of creating accessible and inclusive contemporary art experiences while supporting emerging and established artists throughout New Mexico and beyond.

The exhibition is free and open to the public.
