Artist Talk with Virgil Ortiz

FREE ADMISSION Join us for an Artist Talk with Virgil Ortiz (American, Cochiti Pueblo, b. 1969) to learn more about Revolt 1680/2180, his expansive decades-long project that brings global attention to Po’pay, the Tewa leader who led the Pueblo Revolt of 1680 against Spanish occupation. Ortiz will discuss the most recent iteration of the project, Continuum: Blindfall, First Strike, on view at the Vladem Contemporary until October 18, 2026. Location: New Mexico School for the Arts, 500 Montezuma Ave, Santa Fe Parking will be available in NMSA’s parking lot.
