Anti-Uranium Mapping Project: Workshop and Fundraiser Party

On Saturday, June 6, there will be a fundraiser party for the Anti-Uranium Mapping Project at 7k (film) Studios in Ranchos de Taos.
The Anti-Uranium Mapping Project seeks to provide education surrounding uranium mining in the Southwest from a Native perspective. The evening will feature a decolonial mapping workshop with project leader Shayla Blatchford at 5 pm, followed by a live performance by local cosmic synth legends Dallas Acid, and DJ sets from Sonny Goodnight, The Botanist, and Rainstick throughout the evening.
This project is more vital than ever as many uranium mines in New Mexico are attempting to reopen and move radioactive materials across the state. Come by and learn, dance, and take action!
