516 Arts seeks a creative, organized, and community-minded professional to lead the planning and implementation of dynamic public programs that connect contemporary art with diverse audiences. Working closely with the Executive Director, artists, educators, and community partners, the Public Programs Manager will oversee public programming, foster meaningful partnerships, and help activate our new 16,000-square-foot facility through innovative events, artist initiatives, rentals, and community engagement.
The ideal candidate has experience managing public programs in an arts or cultural setting, excels at relationship-building and project management, and is passionate about creating welcoming, accessible experiences through contemporary art. This is a full-time position based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with benefits. Salary: $60,000-$65,000, commensurate with experience.
