About
The St. George Museum of Art inspires creativity and builds community by celebrating art of the evolving American West.
Housed in a historic Utah-Idaho Sugar Company warehouse, the St. George Museum of Art celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2025. The heart of historic downtown St. George, the museum presents rotating exhibitions across three galleries and offers programming for all ages. The permanent collection highlights both historic and contemporary Utah artists, including Dorothea Lange, Minerva Teichert, Maynard Dixon, and Mahonri Young among its historic holdings, and Eugene Tapahe and Ben Steele among its contemporary voices.
