Founded in 2019 by artist, entrepreneur, and collector Sloane Bouchever, a native New Yorker who moved to Bisbee in 1990, Artemizia Foundation is a contemporary, graffiti, and street art museum and gallery that seeks to provoke, educate, and inspire. Artemizia's name honors 17th-century trailblazer and artist Artemisia Gentileschi, who is known for filling her work with images of empowered women—a rare and revolutionary act for her time.

By exhibiting a dynamic collection of influential contemporary, graffiti, and street artists from around the world, AF seeks to provide lasting opportunities for everyone to engage with and be inspired by art. Explore over 1,000 works of art by 150 artists from fifty countries.
