The Abiquiú Arts Council, a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive arts community in Northern New Mexico. Since 1994, artist member volunteers have organized the annual Abiquiú Studio Tour, a self-guided event that invites visitors to explore the studios of local artists amidst the region's stunning Chama River Valley. Beyond the tour, the council organizes the annual Abiquiú Gathering of Artisans mercado, supports art education in local schools, hosts workshops, and collaborates with area nonprofits to enrich the cultural fabric of Abiquiú. Through these initiatives, the Abiquiú Arts Council celebrates and preserves the unique artistic heritage of the Abiquiú area.

We represent more than 60 artists and galleries annually for the studio tour, and have over 100 revolving members comprising artists and art enthusiasts.
