C. J. Rosenthal: 89 Seconds to Midnight

Strata Gallery presents an Established Member solo exhibition, 89 Seconds to Midnight, featuring paintings completed since 2020 by New Mexico–based artist C. J. Rosenthal. The central issue in C. J. Rosenthal’s art is the relationship of humanity to nature and the way our understanding of that relationship mediates the way we move about and engage the world around us. In the last decade, Rosenthal has added more topical themes, engaging with an increasingly divisive political and social landscape.
