Join CVA for the opening reception of Dance of Resistance, an exhibition featuring the work of nine LGBTQ+ artists who voice the stories of their communities, exploring histories and offering pathways to healing and empowerment. Through figural depictions that place the queer body firmly in the spotlight, the artists reveal their lived experiences and imagined futures, illuminating the power of art to inspire change and foster understanding in our diverse world.

The Center for Visual Art (CVA) is the off-campus art gallery for MSU Denver, showcasing contemporary artists whose work sparks dialogue and creates pathways to change. CVA offers free admission for everyone to its exhibitions.
