Kouri + Corrao is exhilarated to announce Albuquerque-based multi-disciplinary artist Apolo Gomez’s second solo show with the gallery.

“This new body of work explores the intimate realm of pleasure through a series of works on paper,” says Gomez. “I have dissected and photographed the interiors of sex toys, revealing the folds, ridges and voids intended to elicit pleasure. By layering airbrushed, geometric luminous bars and emulsion lifted Polaroids of figurative imagery, I’m creating a unique space between bodily architecture and abstraction.”
