Ann Enzminger’s I’ve Had an Out of Body Experience revisits the neighborhood San Antonio erased to build HemisFair ’68. This exhibition at Flight Gallery examines the human cost of civic spectacle, progress, and the city’s desire to build its future.

Ann Enzminger is a multidisciplinary artist based in San Antonio whose practice encompasses painting, fiber, mapping, and handmade objects. Her work frequently considers place, memory, displacement, repetitive labor, and the systems that shape everyday life. A native Texan and longtime New York City resident, Enzminger returned to Texas and established her studio practice in San Antonio.
