IndigenousWays Festival – Saturday, September 27, 11 am-6 pm

Join us at the Santa Fe Railyard’s Performance Green for a FREE, all-ages celebration rooted in family, creativity, and Indigenous brilliance! This year’s theme—K’éh, Whānau, ʻAiga (Family)—honors the bonds that connect us through music, art, laughter, and cultural traditions.

Live music by Ashley “Saywut?!” Moyer, Jacob Shije, Oriana Lee, and Shandien Sonwai & Steve LaRance with Lightning Boy Foundation

Comedy performance and interactive workshop with Native stand-up artists Ernie Tosoie and Montana J Miller—bringing laughter, storytelling, and community healing to the stage!

Creative workshops include:
• Māori Kanikani dance with Jade Pounamu
• Traditional Navajo weaving with Emma Dixon
• Indigenous Sign Language (ISL) with James Woodenlegs
• American Sign Language (ASL) with Terry Vinsen
• Face painting with Party Up Face
• Hoop Dance with Steve & Shaundien Sonwai LaRance
• Creative Circus with Wise Fool New Mexico
• Youth collage & puppet-making tables
• Comedy with Ernie and Montana

Food trucks • Artisan vendors • ASL interpreters • Wheelchair accessible • Bring your chair or blanket!
