Furniture as Art: New Work by Andy Sanchez

Divine West Gallery will host a special exhibition of furniture by Andy Sanchez on Saturday, September 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. at its Santa Fe gallery, 135 West Palace Avenue. The event will showcase Sanchez’s distinctive live-edge furniture, highlighting works that bring together sculptural wood forms, refined craftsmanship, and the natural character of each material.

Andy Sanchez and his sons are known for creating heirloom-quality furniture that pairs carefully selected woods—such as black walnut, alligator juniper, and eucalyptus—with stones, gems, and metals. Each piece preserves the organic contours of the wood while introducing inlays and details that make the furniture both functional and narrative-rich, while also reflecting a deep respect for the landscape and materials of the American West.

Guests are invited to attend the opening reception, meet the gallery team, and experience Sanchez’s furniture in an intimate setting. Divine West Gallery is located at 135 W. Palace Ave., Suite 104, in Santa Fe.
