BFA Thesis Exhibition Opening Reception

On view November 6 – December 4, 2026, the Fall 2026 BFA Thesis Exhibition is the pinnacle of MSU Denver’s Studio Art majors’ education. Graduating students present their thesis work at the Center for Visual Art, MSU Denver (CVA).
This semester’s body of work represents nuanced topics framing what it means to be an individual in contemporary society, exploring themes of heritage, transformation, and memory. The artists consider how perception is shaped by social, cultural, and political systems—and whose experiences are centered or marginalized within them. Using mediums ranging from ceramics and textiles to painting and video, the artists question how identity is shaped by cultural forces and personal histories.
Join CVA for a celebration of the artists at the opening reception on Nov. 6, 6-8pm. Speak with the artists as you view the work for a more personal experience and enjoy an evening of conversation, curiosity, and creative exploration. Free and open to everyone.
CVA is the off-campus art gallery of MSU Denver, providing diverse, high-quality art experiences that bring local and international artists, MSU Denver students and the broader community together to advance the global urban dialogue.
