
In honor of Ofuskie’s exhibition, the gallery at El Zaguán will host a special Artist Talk on Saturday, December 20, at 2:00 pm. The event will feature a conversation between Ofuskie and El Zaguán’s Gallery Director, Anne Kelly, followed by an audience Q&A session. This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited, so advance registration is required to guarantee seating.
George Alexander (aka Ofuskie) is a Muskogee-Creek artist renowned for blending surrealist symbolism with Indigenous values and a visionary humanitarian outlook. His practice focuses on self-exploration, using recurring motifs of humanity, animals, and his Indigenous culture to delve into belief systems and inspire dialogues on unity and progress. His work continues to resonate with audiences worldwide, inviting them to engage in a collective journey toward greater awareness, respect, and unity among all peoples.
